track workout for today's training at ngee ann. <3
training's starting at 5 today. kind of late. but chris told me to get there early to speak nonsense with them. so i got out of my house real early. and in the end he was late.

stupid la. i could study more initially! i was so enjoying my merchant of venice book.. but since i reached there early i was thinking of starting training earlier cuz i have to leave early at 6 later to go to twist my finger bone back in place. argh.
its just so GOOD to be back on the track again. i miss my sexy spikes. (mind u they're really HOT) i miss ngee ann blue track. i miss sprinting.
so training started off with 3 100m strides. and i realise i could knee-lift easily after all the tyre-running trainngs. cool huh~ then mr lim came and asked me, caryn, pris to follow the ngee ann girls for their fartlegs. the 100m-n-200m per-set-type.
yeahh. i kind of miss that fartleg training too. so i followed the girls and while i was halfway through the 4th set, i was totally knocked out. i was actually panting heavily...its only the 4th set!
sadly, that could only mean one thing. my form's totally gone.
i could easily do 10sets of this fartleg in a row during june holiday's training. and now i couldnt even survive through 4?! oh man. i really got to buck up after eoys.
after finishing the 5th set we went for a rest and it was time for hurdles. but it was 5.55pm alr. i promised mum tt i would leave at 6. but i haven done a single hurdle yet! so i just went to set up the hurdles n stuff and i almost killed myself by putting the hurdles the wrong way.
and there's these 2 NP guys who rather sit beside and watch me fall to death than to inform me that i had put them in the wrong way. i tripped at the last hurdle during the first set and i'm lucky to survive. they were practically laughing and their excuse was :
" i thought u walking over only wad. didnt know u would be running over it."
fine.
it was 6.15pm by then. i'm 15 mins late. but finally mr lim came over and asked me to move the hurdles over to the 80m mark. and he couldnt find those black markings he made on the floor, so i had to go all the way to his car and retrive the rules n regulations book for him so that he can mark them again.
i tried my best and really sprinted. but by the time i'm back it was 6.30pm alr. i'm 30 mins late. so i just informed mr lim tt i got to go twist my finger back in place and rushed for the restroom to get changed and all. great achivement. i did that in only 5 mins.then i tried my best to run in my size 11 slippers. (retarded i know. my feet's only size 7.) and i kept tripping myself on the way. its never good to rush when you're in your oversized slippers.
lucky for me, bus 154 came shortly.
there was no time for dinner, so i ate the wild berry( nt strawberry, sean) energy bar frm chris as dinner. meanwhile i was grouching all the way. haha..
stoopid finger. i got to give up training just to get that bone back in place. i miss out so much fun just in that 30 mins. and i only got to do like 3 sets hurdles today... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! i hate missing training.
so when's the next track workout training again?
in a MILLION years.
guess i just have to wait.
