100m.
4 schools combine grand finals are here. finally. everyone's super excited for this day-especially us trackers.we have train so hard for the past few weeks just for today.we are going to rule the race.
jurong stadium's is super OLD. the track's like black in colour?and its hard like the rock. imagine it. the moment i step on it was like shit. wad a bad track for competition. but no choice la. national stadium's gone.
okok.warm up time.its raining.so tracksuits on. 2 rounds around track and stretching. my legs began to feel wobby. oh no oh no.all dunmanians reach the stadium le.then siyun and yl so sweet! she came to find me and gave me a large bottle of H2O drink. so nice right =)) haha. can't drink for the moment.
then it was the march in.nothing special la. but could feel that i am cooling down le- shit. my event coming up. mabel was very seh saying the pledge. haha.so cool. then it was over and mrs chin was announcing " coming up next is the girls 100m event.." oh no man. my legs became damm soft all of a sudden.
then went to report for it and i was given lane 8.

i hate outer lanes. and my 200m i gt lane 7 also. nt fair one. and all the athletes are like beside me.. so it adds on to my nervousness..then everyone was like whispering and whispering.. aiyah. outer lanes suck la. OH YEAH. then the starter are taking their own sweet time.. so i turn around and saw..

cool huh. he was in his cap and he is very white. haha. okay then "kirkarisan". and i decided to focus on my race again. "sediya..." focus.
bang.
and i did a bad start again. i fell. it was like the 2nd time since i fell. okay. my startings suck also. sigh. but it was over in a few seconds...and the first race was damm cool la. haha. me and oph own the race.
then it was yuh ding and kuan liang's turn.. but i think yuh ding was damm stress up.. so.. but he was good already. nt to worry =)
then it was warm up time for 4x100m and melissa wasnt here yet! oph was like going to cry and so am i. we cant afford to be without her. so we can just wait on..then it was time to report and finally she appear. okay. lucky she warm up already so it was time for the fight on the track again. all the teams gather at the finishing point for the briefing and then i saw my mum.. lol.
the race started. suqin did a good start. she's good. then it was melissa.. and oph..and oh no. the ngee ann teams are like catching up. but my passing with oph was good so the race finish great. we won.
then after that race everyone became very high except for oph. she gt back pain i think. but me and melissa was like high until crazy. then we did a few open starts for 4x400m and the race starting soon again. mr lim asks me to be the 2nd runner and i was like- no i can't do it. so in the end
1st runner- wen xin
2nd runner- oph
3rd runner- shiying
4th runner- melissa
the race started and we had a great disadvantage as we were given the outer lane-again. stupid. but nvm. oph overtook chung cheng and temasek but not the ngee ann girl. then melissa was like -shiying dont watch the scary race. haha. okay. my turn. extremely scary for me as its the 2nd time i'm running 400m other then at the sph relays(which i totaly flunk it). so the ngee ann team went off first and it was my turn.
i stride and stride. my mind was a total blank. i'm only thinking about the girl in front of me. i'm hoping that she would fall down or sth. evil. but she's no obstacles for us. she died off at the last 150m and i just sprinted and overtook her. my only target now to to pass the baton to melissa smoothly. and dunman finish a great race again...
mr lim's proud of us. tt's what i really wanted to see- the smile of satisfactory on his face. thanks.
then jian feng and yuh ding wore skirt and we gt scolded. so sorry boy. its because of the bet tt he made with me tt cause him to be scolded. but it was fun anyway. love the whole team.
not to worry guys. you all ran a nice race despite of the results. strive harder and see you all on the rostrum next year. just dont give up.
